Compliance Placement LLC was founded in January 2008 by Samira Mirza, a veteran of the risk management field, where she held several senior level management positions over the course of the last decade. Before founding CPI, she served as Head of US Operations with Integra Screen, a Singapore-based background screening company specializing in business risk management services. Prior to Integra Screen, Ms. Mirza was Director of Marketing and Business Development at Diligence Inc., an intelligence gathering firm focused on navigating complex investigations in emerging or less transparent markets.

Before joining Diligence, Ms. Mirza served as Director of Business Development for the Investigative Group International where she headed the marketing department and was responsible for bringing in new business, cross selling services and maintaining client relationships both stateside and abroad. Prior to that, she was a Senior Manager in the Competitive Intelligence Unit of American Express, where she gathered and analyzed key competitive information used by senior level management to develop strategic marketing initiatives.

Ms. Mirza also spent several years working as a senior investigator with Kroll Associates in New York, where she specialized in cases involving fraud, unfair competition, money laundering, workplace violence, product tampering, theft of trade secrets, misappropriation of assets, counterfeit products, computer security, litigation support and due diligence. Ms. Mirza also headed a training program for new associates joining the firm.

Ms. Mirza received her MBA and a Masters in International Relations from Boston University. She also holds a BA in English and Political Science from the University of Vermont. She is an associate of Cambridge Policy (Cambridge University, UK) and affiliated with Georgetown University’s Women in International Security.
